Our Supportive Services Ministry partners with families of children, students, and young adults with differing needs or who just need added support during weekend services.

Buddies

Emmanuel offers an inclusion ministry at all campuses. Individuals with differing needs can be paired with a one-on-one buddy and given extra support in their typical environment during weekend services.

Buddies may be an adult or a peer, depending on the individual’s needs.

Support Room

Emmanuel also offers a Support Room, at all campuses for all services.

This room is specifically tailored to children from birth to 6th grade who are better served in an environment modified to meet their specific needs. Children will participate in an adaptive experience featuring worship, a Bible lesson, and activities to enable them to come to Christ and grow in Christ.

Adult Support Room

Our Greenwood Campus offers an Adult Support Room where adults with differing needs can gather together for a sensory-friendly weekend service. Adults will participate in a silent worship experience, a discussion around the current sermon series, and time to develop relationships. The Adult Support Room, located in Room 126, is available during all services.
