Summary of Role: Host Team Director

This is a dual role position. The acting Host Team Director will administer, coordinate, and support the recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of host team members. This role will also create, maintain, and improve the experience of Emmanuel guests and host Impact Team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Host Team

  • Manage Impact Team members assigned to host team for weekend experience
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new Impact Team members
  • Schedule, follow up and confirm host team members using church scheduling software
  • Oversee Impact Team operations during weekend services (Sunday, 8:00am-1:00pm)
  • Monitor host Impact Team processes during the weekend service check-in with host team leaders/members for each service.
  • Stock and set up e-Café and Info Desk spaces on a weekly basis
  • Create monthly content schedule and maintain the Greenwood East Facebook Group
  • Ensure execution of host team campus constants as provided by centralized staff
  • Other related tasks as assigned

Summary of Role: Production Director

Oversee and guide all of production for weekend services in both adult and family ministries environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Production

  • Maintain production equipment for the Greenwood East Campus
  • Plan yearly production budgets with Campus Pastor and Centralized Director of Production
  • Manage campus production budgets throughout the year
  • Maintain regular communication with the Campus Pastor to ensure there is a healthy system for feedback, continuous improvement, and employee development
  • Work with the Campus Pastor on ways to help grow the campus
  • Provide production support and expertise to the Campus Pastor and campus staff as needed
  • Plan and execute special programming elements for big weekends
  • Provide production support as needed for church-wide, Family Ministry, and campus-specific events
  • Ensure campus constants are maintained
  • Collaborate with the Centralized Director of Production on designing and implementing stage sets
  • Other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalent college experience
  • At least one year of paid experience in a management/ministry leadership position preferred
  • Previous experience with church production preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in conflict resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational/administrative skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to learn and use Emmanuel’s systems (Rock, Planning Center, etc.) and learn and adapt to new technology
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner, self-motivated
  • Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion when handling personal and ministry information
  • Demonstrate a servant heart with spiritual maturity and sensitivity

o   Attend one weekend service each week and monthly staff meetings

o   Prioritize a Sabbath (one 24-hour period off work each week)
