Production Assistant – Franklin Campus

Job Description

Part-Time (15 hours per week – Sunday (5), Monday-Saturday (10))

Reports to: Centralized Production Director

Summary of Role:

Create excellent, relevant production for large group environments ranging in age from Preschool through 6th grade.

Summary of Essential Functions

  • Lead production volunteers by producing a consistent, excellent weekend service experience
  • Assist in recruiting, training and developing volunteers at campus
  • Schedule volunteers for large group environments from Preschool to 6th grade.
  • Oversee audio, video and lighting during weekend experience
  • Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment
  • Evaluate everything in the Student and Children’s environments through the lens of excellence and relevance
  • In charge of stage projects, equipment installations, set design and implementation
  • Provides support for church staff production needs (weekends, ministry events, weddings, etc.)
  • Perform other duties when requested by the Campus Pastor
  • Coordinate and lead monthly set changes
  • Foster and champion a healthy staff culture by adhering to Emmanuel staff values and through a growing personal relationship with Christ

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrate a servant heart with spiritual maturity and sensitivity
  • Possess a working knowledge of in-house analog/digital audio consoles, video routers, lighting consoles and fixtures
  • Work experience or volunteer experience in a ministry setting
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a live, weekend service envrionment
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds using proper equipment and technique
